365.536 Construction of KRS 365.530, 365.532, and 365.534.

(1)Nothing in KRS 365.530, 365.532, or 365.534 shall be construed to:
(a)Invalidate or limit an exclusion contained in a motor vehicle liability
insurance policy, including any policy in use or approved for use that
excludes coverage for motor vehicles:
1. Used for delivery; or
2. For any business use; or
(b)Invalidate, limit, or restrict an insurer's ability under existing law to:
1. Underwrite any insurance policy; or
2. Cancel and nonrenew policies.
(a)Nothing in KRS 365.530, 365.532, or 365.534 limits the scope of federal or
state law regarding the delivery or transport of goods.
(b)Deliveries made under KRS 365.530, 365.532, or 365.534 that are subject to
federal or state law regarding the delivery or transport of goods shall also
comply with the requirements of those laws.
(c)In the event of a conflict between KRS 365.530, 365.532, or 365.534 and
another law dealing with the delivery or transport of goods, the other law
prevails.
