334A.189 Inactive licensure status.

(1)Any person with an active license may request that his or her license be placed on
inactive status.
(2)An inactive license shall be renewed every other year by the last day of the month of
the anniversary month granting the inactive license status.
(3)An inactive license may be renewed for up to six
(6)years with documentation of
required continuing education and approval of the board chair, board co-chair, or
administrator of the board. The board shall promulgate administrative regulations to
establish the requirements for renewals after six
