319A.100 Temporary permit.

A temporary permit to practice as an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant may be granted to a person who has completed the education and experience requirements of this chapter and has applied for licensure under the provisions of this chapter. The temporary permit shall allow the applicant for licensure to practice occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. The temporary permit shall be valid until the applicant for licensure is issued or denied a license under the provisions of this chapter, but in no instance shall the temporary permit extend for more than sixty
(60)days following the second examination offered after the applicant has applied to take the examination required for licensure or certification. Not more than one
(1)temporary permit shall be granted per applicant.
