319.990 Penalties.

(1)Any person who violates KRS 319.005 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon
conviction, shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than six
(6)months, or
by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500), or by both fine and
imprisonment, and each violation shall be deemed a separate offense.
(2)Either the Attorney General or the appropriate Commonwealth's or county attorney
shall have the authority to prosecute violations of KRS 319.005.
(3)The board may recover the costs of investigative expenses including reasonable
attorney fees relating to the prosecution of those found guilty of violating KRS
319.005.
