314.035 Unlawful acts relating to dialysis care.

(1)It shall be unlawful for any person, other than a nurse, a physician assistant, or a
physician, to provide dialysis care in a licensed renal dialysis facility unless that
person holds a current active credential from the board to practice as a dialysis
technician.
(2)It shall be unlawful for any person to practice as a dialysis technician who is listed
on the nurse aide abuse registry with a substantiated finding of abuse, neglect, or
misappropriation of property.
(3)It shall be unlawful for any dialysis technician, employer of dialysis technicians, or
any person having knowledge of the facts to refrain from reporting to the board a
dialysis technician who is suspected of having violated any provision of this chapter
or any administrative regulation promulgated by the board.
