248.310 Duties and powers of inspectors.

(1)The inspectors employed under KRS 248.300 shall carry out a general inspection
service of all warehouses and shall strictly enforce KRS 248.280 to 248.440.
(2)An inspector employed by the department may:
(a)Reweigh any reasonable amount of tobacco that has been received by the
tobacco warehouse.
(b)Determine the weight of all containers and devices used in the transport for
the purpose of weighing tobacco on the warehouse floor and establish a
weight tare for each warehouse.
