(1)A person is guilty of criminal possession of a forged prescription when, with
knowledge that it is forged and with intent to defraud, deceive, or injure another, he
possesses a forged prescription.
(2)Criminal possession of a forged prescription is:
(a)For a first offense, a Class A misdemeanor.
(b)For second or subsequent offense, a Class D felony.
