217.139 Pilot microprocessing program.

(1)The Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service shall establish and administer a pilot
microprocessing program to train home-based microprocessors and personnel for
supervising or giving instruction in food-handling techniques, food-protection
principles, personal hygiene and plant sanitation practices, pH controls, and critical
factors in acidification.
(2)The pilot microprocessing program shall be established by August 1, 2003, and
implemented no later than September 1, 2003. There shall be no less than four
program workshops offered to home-based microprocessors and personnel, and
each shall be held in a separate and distinct geographical location within the state.
