212.788 Quorum -- Officers -- Compensation -- Meetings.

(1)The majority of all members of an independent district board of health shall
constitute a quorum. The board shall elect a chairman and vice chairman and other
officers as deemed necessary. The chairman and vice chairman shall serve for one
(1)year terms. The independent district board of health may elect an executive
committee for the conduct of such business and the discharge of such duties as the
board may delegate.
(2)Members of an independent district board of health shall serve without pay but may
be reimbursed for expenses incurred in connection with such service.
(3)The board may create committees it deems necessary, adopt any rules and
regulations for the conduct of business and for carrying out the provisions of KRS
212.780 to 212.794. The board shall keep a record of all resolutions, transactions,
findings and determinations, which shall be public records. The board shall hold at
least four
(4)regular meetings in each year.
