211.1751 Definitions for KRS 211.1751 to 211.1755.

As used in KRS 211.1751 to 211.1755:
(1)"Agency" means a local health department established pursuant to the provisions of
KRS Chapter 212, excluding a health department in a county containing a city of
the first class, a consolidated local government, an urban-county health department,
or an independent district health department.
(2)"Classification plan" means the system of classes and job descriptions, and the
process for the installation and maintenance of the classification plan.
(3)"Compensation plan" means a series of salary ranges to which classes of positions
are assigned so that classifications evaluated as approximately equal may be
assigned to the same salary range.
(4)"Council" means the Local Health Department Employment Personnel Council
created in KRS 211.1752.
(5)"Department" means the Department for Public Health within the Cabinet for
Health and Family Services.
