210.730 Exemption from liability.

The following shall be exempt from liability for patient's board, maintenance and treatment charges:
(1)Any parents' liability for charges for board, maintenance and treatment at facilities
operated or utilized by the cabinet that exceed the cost of caring for a normal child
at home as determined from standard sources by the cabinet;
(2)Any parents' liability after the patient has attained the age of eighteen (18);
(3)A homestead.
