21.380 Normal retirement age.

(1)The normal retirement date or age of a member shall be his sixty-fifth birthday,
except that the normal retirement age for a member who began participating in the
Judicial Retirement Plan prior to January 1, 2014, shall be reduced by one
(1)year,
but no more than five
(5)years total, for:
(a)Each five
(5)years of service credit in the plan; and
(b)Each year of service credit the member has earned beyond that needed to
receive a retirement benefit of one hundred percent (100%) of final
compensation.
(2)KRS 21.350 to 21.480 do not require that a member retire at the normal retirement
date.
