Beginning on July 12, 2006, the requirement of two
(2)years of experience related to one
(1)or more transportation engineering programs for the job classification of Transportation Engineering Assistant I shall not apply as an experience requirement for the classification. Any applicant who has obtained a high school diploma or received a High School Equivalency Diploma shall be deemed to have met the educational requirements necessary for the Transportation Engineering Assistant I classification and shall be allowed to take the relevant written examination for the classification.
