184.040 Examination of submitted plan of service by county road engineer.

When a petition and plan of service have been submitted to the fiscal court as provided in KRS 65.810 and 184.020 the fiscal court shall turn these documents over to the county engineer for his consideration. The county engineer shall, within ten
(10)days from his receipt of such documents from the fiscal court, examine said documents, examine the road proposed to be improved, or maintained, study the estimates of the cost and type of surface proposed to be used, or study the estimates of the cost and type of the contemplated maintenance and return to the fiscal court with recommendations of approval or disapproval the documents theretofore delivered to him.
