183.012 Definitions of local administrative units for chapter.

As used in this chapter:
(1)"City" means any incorporated city;
(2)"Governmental unit" means any city, or the combination of any two
(2)or more
thereof, or any county, urban-county government, or combination of two
(2)or
more such counties, city or cities, acting jointly with any county or counties or an
air board or board established as provided in this chapter;
(3)"Ordinance," in the case of a county, means resolution of the county legislative
body, and in the case of an airport board or air board means a resolution or
regulation of the board;
(4)"Person" means any individual, firm, partnership, corporation, company,
association, joint stock association, or body politic and includes any trustee,
receiver, assignee, or other similar representative thereof; and
(5)"State" or "this state" means the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
