176.055 Dissemination of information concerning roads and highways.

(1)The Department of Highways may purchase space in magazines, newspapers, and
other publications and may cause to be made and circulated all maps, prints, plans,
lithographs, engravings, photographs, drawings, art work, and other specialized
work deemed necessary in the dissemination of information concerning its roads
and highways.
(2)The Department of Highways, with the approval of the Governor, may expend an
amount not in excess of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) a year
for the purposes set out in subsection
(1)hereof.
(3)The provisions of KRS Chapter 57 shall not be applicable or controlling in the
expenditure of this fund.
