156.072 Waiver of reporting requirement.

(1)At the request of a local board of education or a school council, a local school
district superintendent shall submit a request to the Kentucky Board of Education
for a waiver from a reporting requirement established by a Kentucky Revised
Statute that requires the paperwork to be submitted to the Kentucky Board of
Education or the Department of Education.
(2)Upon a finding of good cause for the waiver, the Kentucky Board of Education may
grant the waiver.
(3)The Kentucky Board of Education shall not waive statutory paperwork or reporting
requirements necessary under federal law or relating to health, safety, or civil rights.
