150.152 Report of audit of department by Auditor of Public Accounts.

Each year when the Auditor of Public Accounts conducts the statewide single audit of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the Auditor of Public Accounts shall with respect to the Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources:
(1)Examine the separate revenue streams of each account within the game and fish
fund to ensure compliance with the prohibition against commingling of funds;
(2)Disaggregate and report the revenue and expenditures, by type, within the program
income fund of the fish and game fund;
(3)Identify internal controls, weaknesses, operating inefficiencies, and make
recommendations for improvements;
(4)Examine procurements, expenditures, and procurement policies to ensure
compliance with the procurement procedure requirements of KRS Chapter 45A and
150.0242; and
(5)Submit a written report to the Interim Joint Committee on Natural Resources and
Energy in conjunction with the release of the statewide single audit of the
Commonwealth of Kentucky.
