148.001 Definitions for chapter.

As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:
(1)"Department" means the Department of Parks;
(2)"Commissioner" means the commissioner of parks;
(3)"Commission" means the State Property and Buildings Commission;
(4)"Livestock" means cattle, sheep, swine, goats, horses, alpacas, llamas,
buffaloes, and any other animals of the bovine, ovine, porcine, caprine, equine,
or camelid species;
(5)"Prisoner of war" means any regularly appointed, enrolled, enlisted, or inducted
member of the military forces of the United States who was captured,
separated, and incarcerated by an enemy of the United States;
(6)"Sanctuary" means a place of refuge where wildlife is maintained and
protected from depredation and destruction; and
(7)"Wildlife" means all living things that are neither human nor domesticated,
including but not limited to mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, fishes,
crustaceans, mollusks, trees, shrubs, vines, wildflowers, and nonflowering
plants.
