118.335 Effect of conflicting certificates and petitions of nomination.

If any certificate or petition of nomination made under the provisions of this chapter contains the name of more than one
(1)candidate for any office to be filled, neither name shall be printed as a candidate for that office. If any person has been nominated as a candidate for any office by primary election or by party convention, and also by petition, his name shall be placed in the list of candidates nominated by the primary or convention, and the place occupied by his name in the petition shall be left blank, unless the candidate makes written request, prior to the last day for filing evidences of nomination, that his name be printed as nominated by petition and be omitted from the list nominated by the primary or convention.
