Duties. The Medicaid Oversight and Advisory Board of the Kentucky General Assembly is hereby established. The purpose of the board is to optimize delivery of health services for continually improving health outcomes and doing so in a cost efficient and effective manner. The board shall review, analyze, study, evaluate, provide legislative oversight, and make recommendations to the General Assembly regarding any aspect of the Kentucky Medicaid program, including but not limited to benefits and coverage policies, access to services and network adequacy, health outcomes and equity, reimbursement rates, payment methodologies, delivery system models, financing and funding, and administrative regulations.
