36.140 Reimbursement for expenses and subsistence for active field service or state

active duty -- Annual leave.
(1)Officers and enlisted men ordered into active field service pursuant to KRS 37.240
or into state active duty as defined in KRS 38.010(4) as individuals shall be entitled
to reimbursement out of the State Treasury for expense of transportation and for
other expenses actually incurred pursuant to KRS 45.101 and the regulations
promulgated thereunder, and, when government supplied quarters and mess
facilities are not available to the officers and enlisted men without cost, they shall
be entitled to reimbursement out of the State Treasury for subsistence pursuant to
KRS 45.101.
(2)Nothing in this section shall be construed to prevent officers and employees of state,
county, and local departments and agencies from receiving fifteen
(15)days annual
military leave with pay.
