providers shall be limited to their negligent acts and omissions that violate the
standards of care in existing law. Nothing in KRS 314.400 to 314.414 is intended to expand liability. In the event of an action for injury or death due to any act or omission of a licensed certified professional midwife licensed pursuant to KRS 314.400 to 314.414, the liability of any other licensed healthcare provider shall be limited to their negligent acts and omissions that violate their standards of care according to existing law.
