243.185 Sale of alcoholic beverages and malt beverages at marinas -- Qualification

for local option election under KRS 242.122.
(1)To qualify for a local option election under KRS 242.122, a marina shall:
(a)Operate on any body of water;
(b)Own, operate, or manage at least fifteen
(15)boat slips;
(c)Buy and sell gasoline and petroleum products for the operation of boats; and
(d)1. Sell staple groceries;
2. Operate a restaurant on its premises; or
3. Sell staple groceries and operate a restaurant on its premises.
(2)A restaurant on the marina premises is not required to be located on or adjacent to
the shoreline of the body of water.
