Exception.
(1)Printing or lettering of any kind on the flag of the United States, or the use of the
flag for advertising purposes in any manner, is prohibited.
(2)Nothing in this section or in KRS 2.060 shall prohibit a newspaper from publishing
a picture of the flag of the United States next to the obituary of a deceased active
member or honorably discharged veteran of the United States military service.
