(1)No adoptive parent, proposed adoptive parent, agency, or intermediary shall pay the
attorney's fees of a biological parent for any purpose related to an adoption action
except as approved by the court.
(2)Any person who violates subsection
(1)of this section shall be guilty of a Class A
misdemeanor.
