work zone.
(1)The operator of a vehicle shall yield the right-of-way to any public safety vehicle,
as defined in KRS 189.910, or any pedestrian or worker, including utility worker,
actually engaged in work in a highway work zone as defined in KRS 189.010.
(2)The operator of a vehicle shall yield the right-of-way to any public safety vehicle
obviously and actually engaged in work upon a highway whenever such vehicle
displays flashing lights meeting the requirements of KRS 189.920(4).
(3)The operator of a vehicle shall stay in a designated lane reserved for traffic in a
highway work zone.
