(Effective until July 1, 2026) The Kentucky Board of Education, upon the recommendation of the chief state school officer, shall have the authority to prescribe administrative regulations for the recommended listing by the State Textbook Commission, adoption by local adoption units, and the purchase of subject programs for the pupils in the public schools.
