8-2202. Reference to prior law construed as reference to corresponding section in 1974 act. Whenever reference is made in any statute or rule or regulation of this state to any section or provision in article 5 of chapter 8 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, and any acts amendatory thereof or supplemental thereto, such reference shall be deemed to be made to the corresponding section or provision in this act, and any such corresponding section or provision in this act shall be construed as a continuation of the prior section or provision.
Any rule or regulation in effect on the effective date of this act, which was adopted under authority of any provision in article 5 of chapter 8 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, and acts amendatory thereof or supplemental thereto, shall continue in force and effect, unless the same is in conflict with the provisions of this act or until it shall be amended or repealed.
