76-7,107. Long-term infrastructure maintenance program; transfers of moneys from state general fund to the infrastructure maintenance fund; expenditures and transfers from fund for program.
(1)On July 1, 2008, or as soon thereafter as sufficient moneys are available, $7,000,000 shall be transferred by the director of accounts and reports from the state general fund to the infrastructure maintenance fund established by K.S.A. 76-7,104 , and amendments thereto.
(2)No moneys shall be transferred by the director of accounts and reports from the state general fund to the infrastructure maintenance fund established by K.S.A. 76-7,104 , and amendments thereto, during the fiscal years ending June 30, 2025, June 30, 2026, and June 30, 2027, pursuant to this section.
(b)All transfers made in accordance with the provisions of this section shall be considered to be demand transfers from the state general fund.
(c)All moneys credited to the infrastructure maintenance fund shall be expended or transferred only for the purpose of paying the cost of projects approved by the state board pursuant to the state educational institution long-term infrastructure maintenance program.
