76-616e. Conveyance of certain real estate in Lyon county by board of regents authorized; disposition of proceeds. The state board of regents is hereby authorized and empowered, for and on behalf of Emporia state university, to sell and convey all of the rights, title and interest in the following described real estate located in Lyon county, Kansas: The west half of lot 2 except the north 110 feet in the Normal Addition to the city of Emporia, according to the recorded plat thereof in Lyon county, Kansas, commonly known as 136 W. 12 th Avenue, Emporia, Kansas.
Conveyance of such rights, title and interest in such real estate shall be executed in the name of the state board of regents by its chairperson and executive officer. When the sale is made, the proceeds thereof shall be paid to the Emporia state university memorial union corporation to be used for renovation of the memorial union on the campus.
