75-3718a. Chairperson or representative of senate ways and means and house appropriations committees entitled to attend hearings on tentative budget; compensation and expense allowances. The chairperson of the senate ways and means committee and the chairperson of the house of representatives committee on appropriations shall be entitled to attend, or be represented by another member of such committees, at all hearings on the tentative budget prior to the convening of each regular legislative session.
Each such chairperson or the representative of such chairperson, shall receive compensation and travel expenses and subsistence expenses or allowances as provided in K.S.A. 75-3212 and amendments thereto.
