75-3711b. Same; approval unnecessary for certain contracts between state educational institutions and state agencies or if otherwise authorized by law; copies of such contracts filed with legislative research department.
(a)Nothing in K.S.A. 75-3711a , and amendments thereto, shall be construed to require approval of the state finance council to allow any state agency specifically authorized by any other statute to do so, to receive grants of money and funds appropriated under any federal act or from any other source, or to contract with and
(1)receive or spend or transfer or
(2)receive and spend or transfer moneys from any other state or federal agencies.
(b)Nothing in K.S.A. 75-3711a , and amendments thereto, shall require approval of the state finance council for any contract requiring expenditures or transfers of an amount equal to $250,000 or less between any state educational institution, as defined in subsection
(a)of K.S.A. 76-711 , and amendments thereto, and any other state agency, including another state educational institution. Within 30 days after entering into each such contract, the state agency required to expend or transfer funds under the contract shall file a copy of the contract with the legislative research department.
