74-8113. Employees of Kansas technology enterprise corporation.
(a)Except as provided in subsection
(h)of K.S.A. 74-8101 and amendments thereto, for members of the board of directors of the Kansas technology enterprise corporation, the provisions of article 32 of chapter 75 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, any acts amendatory thereof or supplemental thereto, and any rules and regulations adopted thereunder, shall not apply to officers or employees of Kansas technology enterprise corporation. Subject to policies established by the board of directors, the president of the corporation or the president's designee shall be authorized to approve all travel and travel expenses of such officers and employees.
(b)Nothing in this act or the act of which it is amendatory shall be construed as placing any officer or employee of the Kansas technology enterprise corporation in the classified service under the Kansas civil service act.
