74-50,219. Promoting employment across Kansas; legislative members prohibited from benefiting under act; when. On and after July 1, 2014, no member of the legislature, either elected or appointed, shall while in office and within three years after the expiration of such legislator's term of office avail such person of the benefits available under the provisions of K.S.A. 74-50,212 through 74-50,216 , and amendments thereto.
