74-4002. Same; chairman of animal health board; meetings; compensation and expenses. The members of the Kansas animal health board shall choose their own chairman, who shall serve for a term of one year. Such board shall meet at least once in each quarter. Meetings may be called and held at the discretion of the chairman, and meetings shall be called by the chairman upon written request of a majority of the members of such board. Members of the Kansas animal health board attending meetings of such board, or attending a subcommittee meeting thereof authorized by such board, shall be paid compensation, subsistence allowances, mileage and other expenses as provided in K.S.A. 75-3223 , and amendments thereto.
Amounts paid under this section shall be paid from appropriations to the animal health commissioner upon warrants of the director of accounts and reports issued pursuant to vouchers approved by the commissioner.
