73-1241. Death of applicant. If any spouse or eldest living survivor applies for the Vietnam war era medallion, medal and certificate or if any veteran dies after applying for a Vietnam war era medallion, medal and a certificate and such veteran would have been entitled to the Vietnam war era medallion, medal and the certificate, the director of the Kansas office of veterans services shall give the Vietnam war era medallion, medal and the certificate to the spouse or eldest living survivor of the deceased veteran.
