72-2644. Perjury; penalties. Any person who shall, with intent to defraud, make any false statement or falsify any record required by virtue of the provisions of this act or any rule or regulation of the board, shall be deemed guilty of perjury and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment for a term of not less than one year nor more than five years, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
