68-432. Display of goods on state highway right-of-way; operation of vending facilities by blind persons. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to display to the public within the right-of-way of any state highway outside the limits of any city, any goods, wares or merchandise for sale, gift, barter or exchange, except that this act shall not apply to:
(a)The sale of products of farm or garden sold at the entrance to any farm or garden where produced so long as such sales are conducted at a safe distance from the traveled way; or
(b)the sale of products by a vendor licensed under the provisions of K.S.A. 75-3339 , and amendments thereto, as authorized by rules and regulations adopted by the secretary of transportation.
