66-1,188. Same; power, authority and jurisdiction of state corporation commission. The commission is given full power, authority and jurisdiction to supervise and control the local exchange carriers, as defined in K.S.A. 66-1,187 , and amendments thereto, doing business in Kansas, and is empowered to do all things necessary and convenient for the exercise of such power, authority and jurisdiction. Notwithstanding the provisions of any other section, the commission shall have no jurisdiction to supervise or control telecommunications carriers or electing carriers except as provided for in subsections
(y)and
(z)of K.S.A. 66-2005 , and amendments thereto.
