65-4961. Same; advisory committee of health care providers created. There is hereby created a committee of not to exceed five health care providers to be appointed as follows: One member by the governor; one member by the speaker of the house of representatives; one member by the minority leader of the house of representatives; one member by the president of the senate; and one member by the minority leader of the senate. The members of the committee shall serve at the pleasure of their appointing authority.
The committee shall advise the secretary on matters concerning the administration of this act and make recommendations to the secretary concerning applications for the issuance of certificates of public advantage and the termination of such certificates. The committee shall meet on the call of the secretary. Committee members shall not be paid compensation, subsistence allowances, mileage or other expenses as otherwise may be authorized by law for attending meetings, or subcommittee meetings, of the committee.
