65-102a. Materials relating to environmental concerns; public inspection; copies, fee, approval; disposition of moneys. All correspondence, written materials or other documents relating to environmental concerns, for which public release of such information is not prohibited, shall be available for public inspection in the offices of the secretary of health and environment during regular office hours. Copies of such correspondence, written materials or other documents shall be made available upon request and payment of a fee for each page so provided in an amount fixed by the secretary of health and environment and approved by the director of accounts and reports under K.S.A. 45-204 , and amendments thereto, except that no charge shall be made to any member of the legislature obtaining such copies for his or her official use and no charge shall be made for fact sheets and other materials required by federal law or regulation to be supplied to the public.
The secretary shall remit all moneys received from such fees to the state treasurer in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 75-4215 , and amendments thereto. Upon receipt of each such remittance, the state treasurer shall deposit the entire amount in the state treasury to the credit of the state general fund.
