55-504. Supervision and control by state commission; rules; rates in excess of statutory provisions, when. The corporation commission shall have the general supervision and control over all such persons, firms, associations or corporations in the performance of said business, and shall prescribe reasonable rules for the conduct thereof, which rules, when prescribed and delivered in writing to any such person, firm, association, or corporation shall be printed and posted in a convenient, accessible and conspicuous place at each office, station or place of business where such oil is received or delivered.
The corporation commission is hereby authorized to permit rates, in excess of those provided for in K.S.A. 55-503 upon application as provided for in chapter 66 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, if said commission shall first find that such rates are unjust, unreasonable or inadequate.
