53-512. Notarial acts; suspension of appearance requirements; validity. All notarial acts performed by a notary public of this state while the requirements that a person must appear before a notary public are suspended pursuant to an executive order or other state law, shall be valid as if the individual had appeared before the notary public, notwithstanding any failure of any individual to appear personally before the notary public, if the notarial act meets all requirements prescribed by such executive order or other state law and all requirements prescribed by law that do not relate to appearance before the notary public.
