49-619. Violation hearings, conduct; bond forfeiture proceedings; duties of attorney general. Upon receipt of the referral, the commission shall schedule a hearing on the violation by the operator within 30 days after the date of receipt. The commission, upon written request, shall afford the operator the right to appear before the commission at the hearing. The operator shall have the right to counsel, and may produce witnesses and present statements, documents and other information with respect to the alleged violation.
If the commission determines that the operator is in violation of this act or of any rule and regulation adopted by the director pursuant to this act, the commission shall request the attorney general to institute bond forfeiture proceedings.
