47-446. Feedlot brands; application; not evidence of ownership. Feedlot brands may be lawfully applied to livestock which are not branded with a registered brand of the owner and which are in the custody of, and upon the premises of, a feedlot operator licensed under the provisions of article 15 of chapter 47 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, and amendments thereto. Such feedlot brand shall not be construed as evidence of ownership identification.
