40-205c. Revocation of agent's license; hearing. Whenever the commissioner of insurance is in possession of information indicating that any licensed agent is not of good business repute, or does not serve the interest of the public under such license, or for any other good cause, the commissioner of insurance may issue an order requiring such agent to show cause why the agent's license should not be revoked, and in any such order the commissioner of insurance shall fix the time and place for a hearing which shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Kansas administrative procedure act.
After the hearing, the commissioner of insurance shall have the right to continue or revoke the license according to the findings made at such hearing.
