38-526. Same; management; advisory board; compensation; salary of person in charge, how paid. The detention home or district farm shall be in charge of a person or persons to be selected by the judge of the district court. The judge of the district court shall appoint two
(2)members of an advisory board and the board of county commissioners by resolution shall appoint three
(3)members of said advisory board which shall consist of five
(5)members who shall be persons other than county commissioners and shall serve at the pleasure of the appointing authority. The advisory board shall consult with and advise the person or persons in charge of the home or farm and judge of the district court concerning the problems at the home or farm; and said judge may delegate such supervisory powers as the judge may see fit to the board, and the board is authorized to exercise the powers so delegated. The members of such advisory board shall receive no compensation. The salary of the person or persons in charge of the home or farm shall be fixed by the judge of the district court and shall be payable from funds collected for the maintenance of such home or farm.
