38-2105. Reports to governor and legislature, actual and estimated receipts and investment earnings to Kansas endowment for youth fund. The board of trustees of the Kansas public employees retirement system shall report to the governor and to the legislature on the moneys credited to the Kansas endowment for youth fund and investment earnings thereon at least once each calendar quarter and on a monthly basis upon request of the governor, the president of the senate or the speaker of the house of representatives.
In addition, the board of trustees shall submit a report on or before October 1 of each year to the director of the budget, the director of the legislative research department and the chairpersons of the senate committee on ways and means and the house of representatives committee on appropriations detailing the board's estimates as to the amounts of moneys that would be available for transfer from the Kansas endowment for youth fund to the children's initiatives fund during the ensuing fiscal year.
The director of the budget and the governor shall use the information in such report in the preparation of the governor's budget report under K.S.A. 75-3721 , and amendments thereto.
