25-4160. Complaints of violations; copy to respondent. Any individual, including any member of the commission, may file, by mail or in person, with the commission a verified complaint in writing stating the name of any person to whom or to which the campaign finance act applies who is alleged to have violated any provision of the campaign finance act, and which shall set forth the particulars thereof. If a member of the commission files a complaint, such member shall be disqualified from the commission's consideration of that complaint.
Whenever a complaint is filed with the commission, the commission shall promptly send a copy thereof to the person complained of, who shall thereafter be designated as the respondent.
